Punks in Myanmar.

After 50 years of a military rule that banned anything that could spark a revolution, Myanmar has begun to embrace new cultural freedom. Punk had been silenced because of its political undertone. During the military junta rule, banned music was smuggled in on tapes and CDs and artist were jailed and often tortured for supporting the opposition. Punks say freedoms are still restricted, but these group of Punks hope their screams will allow others to raise their voices.
